What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Hall Support Manager position at Round One Entertainment, Inc.?
1.Learn the recipe and recreate the menu:
・Learn the recipes of our franchise partners and do training until you are able to recreate the recipe in the U.S.(Max 6 months)
・Cooking in the Central kitchen, Finalizing the cooking method at the Food Hall and improving the reproducibility of the flavor. Learning the recipes from a couple restaurants and conducting training for our store employees.
・Optimize the methods at the store by Managing food safety, maintaining and improving the quality and cost management
・Managing and Standardizing the menu based on the menu from Japan and the Japanese brand
・Creating the manual in order to cook & serve the recipes based on Japan
・Participating the process of developing & improving the menu
2.Preparing and following up with central kitchen and Food Hall:
・Supporting setting up, preparing facilities and cleaning the central kitchen and Food Hall.
・Conducting cooking training and supporting daily tasks for Central kitchen and Food hall employees.
・Following food safety based on HACCP and conducting risk management. Obtaining the certification of ISO 22000:2018.
・Standardizing cooking methods, quality check for each cooking process to maintain high quality, Training staff members regarding using, repairing, maintaining cooking facilities at the stores
3.Team Management:
・Cooking with authorized process/order, Submitting Reports, If there are any issues, try following up with staff members or providing additional training to fix the issues
・Doing business trips or adjusting your schedule for the central kitchen and Food Hall business.
・Increasing productivity by educating and assigning staff members, Training cooks and making a training system, introducing and conducting training program
・Constructing the working environment that able to achieve high motivation and performance
4.Finance and budget management:
・Plan the budget and submit the expenses for a business trip or training.
・Maintain cooking facilities and financial management at the Central kitchens and each store. Reporting to the management accordingly.
5.Business trips and communicating with japan branch
・Improving the quality of reproducibility by acquiring the recipes and cooking methods from conducting training at our franchise restaurants in Japan(max 6 months)
・Communicating regularly with the Japan branch and sharing the situation and progress of the local stores in the U.S.
・Achieving smooth communication between local stores in the U.S. and franchises stores in Japan through Japan branch
・Sharing store’s operation status, future tasks and improvement points to the Japan branch which is in charge of managing franchises.
6. Following law and regulations:
・Following the laws and regulations regarding food safety and business in the U.S.
・provide and maintain a safe work environment for Food Hall and central kitchen employees. Patrolling the stores regularly and making sure there are no issues at the stores and handling them accordingly if there are any issues.
7 . Others
・Participating other new projects actively, Quick responses to the requests from management side
・Supporting grand openings preparation and smooth store expansions(grand openings) with doing business trips across the U.S.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,900.00 per year
