Director of Operations

We have partnered with a growing manufacturer who are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join their team as a Director of MRO Operations, specializing in Avionics. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on management professional with a strong technical background in Avionics / Electronics Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. This role is being hired with a view to progressing into a General Manager position within the next few years, offering a clear pathway for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Direct, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of FAA repair station operations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures using LEAN principles to optimize Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, Assembly / Test, and Production Program Management.
• Drive revenue and profit goals while managing P&L responsibilities.
• Prepare and lead the annual budget and strategic planning processes.
• Mentor and develop team members across Engineering, Production Control, and Quality Assurance.
• Ensure effective use of ERP systems within manufacturing operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report findings to senior management.
• Review and approve price proposals and customer purchase orders.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with relevant environmental, safety, and health regulations.
