Responsibilities of the Export Compliance Manager
- Collaborate across departments to manage trade compliance processes, including transaction reviews, due diligence, red flag analysis, training, procedure development, and maintaining compliance recordkeeping systems.
- Lead license generation and administration tasks, including agreements for technical assistance, manufacturing, and distribution. Manage the development, submission, tracking, and execution of these agreements.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on trade compliance, keeping up to date with export compliance regulations and communicating policy updates.
- Utilize trade compliance systems (e.g., OCR) for processing and recordkeeping.
- Conduct risk analysis on transactions flagged for potential compliance issues.
- Review and analyze commodity and technical data for accurate jurisdiction and classification.
- Prepare and verify export and import documentation for non-standard shipments.
