• Quality Engineer Responsibilities: Participate in design reviews, ensure alignment with customer requirements, and define quality and inspection criteria.
• Develop inspection plans (receiving, in-process, assembly, final), and determine special gauging requirements.
• Conduct internal audits of the quality system and facilitate customer and AS9100 audits.
• Investigate hardware non-conformance, perform trend analysis on product issues, and support corrective actions
• Oversee supplier quality (purchase orders, ratings, corrective actions), and develop quality plans.
• Manage customer quality issues, write technical procedures and acceptance test plans, and coordinate First Article Inspections (AS9102).

• Quality Engineer experience and qualifications required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical, electrical, or quality engineering required
• Knowledge of quality concepts and systems, especially root cause/corrective action methodologies such as 8D, DFMEA / PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Six-Sigma etc.
• Exposure to mechanical and/or electrical inspection techniques with a strong background in blueprint and drawing interpretation
• Thorough understanding of AS9100/AS9102 quality systems.
• Outgoing, dynamic personality that can “win hearts and minds” in your pursuit of continuous improvement
