About the Early Childhood Department :

About the Role :
The Director of Early Childhood will lead initiatives to promote high-quality, engaging early childhood education programs across RRISD. This leader will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and district staff to implement evidence-based practices that support student success and align with district goals. As Director, you will be instrumental in creating a foundation for lifelong learning for our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of early childhood programs aligned with district goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to foster inclusive and engaging learning environments.
- Oversee pre-kindergarten programs, Child Development Centers, and Teen Parenting initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines and manage program budgets effectively.
- Support parent and community engagement to enhance student success.
- Supervise and evaluate staff, ensuring the recruitment and retention of highly qualified personnel.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing needs and implementing strategies for program success.
