Adult Residential Program Director
This person is responsible for the smooth running of a caseload of individuals in Children Habilitation Residential Program/Host Home and Family Care Giver programs which includes financial management and overseeing program compliance. This person provides leadership, assistance, supervision, training, and support to Independent Contractors and Individuals served. It is expected that this person is familiar with governing rules and regulations for the programs and that the program maintains compliance with these rules and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uphold the mission, values, policies and procedures of Roundup Fellowship.
- Uphold principles of the trauma informed principles of Roundup Fellowship.
- Participate in training and events that specifically address the intersection of trauma with culture, history, race, gender, location, and language.
- Ensure program is in compliance with all rules and regulations including Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Health Care Policy and Finance (HCPF) and the Final Settings Rule.
- Oversee documentation is in compliance including follow-up on incident reports.
- Identify support for persons in services and develop a plan for addressing these needs.
- Oversight to Independent Contractors.
- Provide direction, support, and role modeling to Independent Contractors.
- Oversee programming for all persons served in Children Habilitation Residential Program/Host Home (CHRP-HH) and Family Care Giver (FCG).
- Support persons in services with Informed Decision Making.
- Oversee Person Centered Services.
- Ensure accountability of all program money.
- Maintain frequent and professional communication with supervisors, family members, Host Home Providers (HHPs), FCGs, medical professionals, staff members, and other professionals or Interdisciplinary Team Members (IDT).
- Handle emergency situations effectively while following established procedures.
- Participate in the organization’s Quality Improvement process.
- Provide feedback to Leadership when there are concerns about policies and procedures.
- Responsible for supporting and maintaining a physically and psychologically safe environment.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree and three years’ experience in human services.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language for required paperwork, testing, and professional communication.
- Ability to operate a computer utilizing Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge and experience with the electronic record management system Therap.
- Must have 5 years of Valid Driving experience and a valid Colorado Driver’s License or be willing to obtain Valid Colorado Driver’s License within 30 days of hire.
- Satisfactory background check.
- Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure while dealing with a variety of emotions and frustrations.
- Requires scheduling flexibility.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively with respect and tact in order to give, receive, and analyze information, formulate plans, prepare materials.
- Ability to supervise and effectively manage Independent Contractors.
- Ability to organize and time manage all required tasks.
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Requires sufficient range of physical strength, endurance, and mobility to assist in household activities and behavioral interventions.
- Requires adequate range of hearing and vision to properly supervise residents.
- Requires mental flexibility, emotional stability, personal maturity, and creativity in dealing with difficult situations.
Salary : $58,656 - $65,000
