POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator advances the mission of Roundup River Ranch by enhancing the impact of marketing and communications efforts. This role focuses on telling the inspiring story of Roundup River Ranch across various platforms and mediums, supporting all departments under the guidance of the Marketing Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Key Responsibilities: Marketing, Communications & Branding
- Design and produce collateral aligned with Roundup River Ranch brand standards, appealing to diverse audiences.
- Craft compelling copy and visuals for both online and print materials to engage target audiences.
- Maintain and update the website and online presence.
- Assist with a range of marketing projects, including impact reports, e-newsletters, social media content, fundraising campaigns, recruitment efforts, special events, and camp session summaries.
- Support organizational video projects through editing, brainstorming, and planning for specific video projects (e.g., events, programs, recruitment).
Social Media and Digital Marketing:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute social media strategies that align with marketing objectives.
- Coordinates daily social media activities across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn), including content planning, scheduling, and posting, to support brand and campaign goals. Works closely with the Marketing Manager to align on strategy and review/track performance insights.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
- Design graphics, produce short videos, and identify trends to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Track metrics such as engagement, reach, and impressions, providing insights for improvement.
- Ensure publishing of engaging content, including articles, blog posts, website copy, social media posts, and email newsletters.
- Support email marketing efforts across the organization, including content planning, design, and implementation.
Content Creation and Organization:
- Acquire, organize, and manage media and content during camp programs. Includes photographs, social media, video, interviews of campers, volunteers, and staff, stories, artwork, and other key collateral.
- Research, capture, and select compelling images and camper stories that promote the Roundup Ranch story.
- Support Marketing Manager with management of content of photographs, video, quotes, interviews, etc. for marketing team to efficiently use in marketing collateral throughout the year.
- Assist with content collection at special events, including photos, videos, and support where needed.
- Support/Assist the Marketing Manager in coordinating daily tasks and operations involving the Marketing Seasonal position and Camp Fellow.
Team Collaboration and Support:
- Coordinate and actively contribute to the annual camp theme development process in partnership with the Marketing Team and other key staff.
- Manage merchandise inventory and ordering to ensure collateral and branded materials are readily available.
- Coordinate branding and inventory for program-related supplies such as t-shirts, brochures, boxes, envelopes, etc.
- Provide marketing support to all departments, addressing various needs.
- Assist and support relationships with external vendors (e.g., photographers, videographers, graphic designers, web administrators, and advertising firms).
- Support campsite media visits (includes photographers and videographers) where applicable.
- Support and promote the online Camp Store.

JOB COMPETENCIES
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign; Illustrator; Photoshop)
- Foundational knowledge in video editing (Premiere Pro)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs
- Experience managing image and video library content using photo management tool; Google; Dropbox; Mastershare or similar
- Experience with WordPress or similar website content management system
- Experience with MailChimp, or other email marketing service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using a camera for photography
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of commercial experience in marketing, public relations, graphic design, or a related field
- At least 1 year of commercial experience designing and producing online and print media
