Used Car Sales Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Used Car Manager to oversee our used car operations at our dealership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive sales, inventory management, and customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The Used Car Manager will be responsible for leading a team, optimizing inventory control, and driving sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the used car department, ensuring efficient inventory management and control.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and enhance customer experience.
• Oversee the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring all team members are trained in effective sales techniques.
• Communicate with customers effectively, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives to expand market reach and attract new customers.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices in automotive sales and customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales performance, and customer interactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive sales management or a similar role within a dealership environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members while fostering a positive work environment.
• Familiarity with outside sales techniques and strategies is advantageous.
