PURPOSE OFJOB :
Responsible for sales and customer support of all products / services offered by the Company within a defined geography or designated accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Plans, directs and coordinates activities to drive sales / product use within a designated geography or list of accounts
- Interviews and hires sales and support personnel to build a team
- Assigns territories / accounts to sales professionals
- Sets sales goals for each territory
- Participates in negotiations with key accounts
- Forecasts sales, monitors economic and legislative environment for changes that may impact growth
- Has responsibility for some service activities
- Collaborates internally with the team to continually strengthen the culture and enhance customer relations
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, existing and new products & sales strategies
- Recommends changes in products, services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
- Maintains professional and knowledge by on-the -job training, attending networks and by participating in professional societies
- Meets or exceeds quarterly sales quota
- Travel up to 60%
PREFERRED EDUCATION :
BA in business (or related discipline)
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :
A minimum of 8 years of related experience
ADDITIONAL SKILLS :
Current knowledge of products / services, industry, customers and competition. Management experience and interpersonal skills are important.
