Rover3PL, a National Courier Company, is seeking an Operations Assistant for our Ashburn, VA station. This station controls customer service, dispatch, operational functions and support to local stations on a national level.
Purpose: The Operations Assistant provides administrative support and backup coverage for Operations, Dispatch and Office duties.
Shifts Available:
10:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Overnight)
3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Responsibilities include the following, However other duties may be assigned:
- Provides administrative support
- Computer data entry
- Manifest and prepare documents as required
- Assist in Billing
- Inbound and Outgoing phone calls
- Assist and Direct divers in the field across multiple states
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Ability to travel on occasion for short period of time for training or support of Operational needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications and Requirements:

Education/Experience Skills:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: *Relies on written and verbal communication.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Communicates internally with terminal and corporate office staff, and externally with shippers, contractors and customers. Technical Experience:*
- Computer skills.
