Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic People Services Associate (PSA) to streamline our college’s hiring process. In this role, you will support the Talent Acquisition department with recruitment tasks and ensure all procedures run smoothly.
To excel as a People Services Associate, you should possess excellent organizational and computer skills. Ultimately, a top-notch PSA will communicate effectively with interviewees and maintain a calm demeanor.
Required Education/Experience:
- bachelor’s or associate degree in business, human resources, or related area and two (2) years of experience in human resources recruiting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
- Experience working in a community college, K-12, or office environment, or with a governmental entity
- Certifications/Certificates in Talent Acquisitions or information technology.
- Familiarity with standard hiring practices, such as scheduling interviews and onboarding processes
- Bi-lingual a plus
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to use technology for reporting, excellent communication skills, basic knowledge of employment law, time management, and excellent people skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- At least one year of experience as a recruitment assistant or a related role.
