About the Role:
- Support the implementation of the Rowan-Salisbury School System's Literacy Plan across K-5 grade levels.
- Provide personalized, classroom-based support to teachers, including professional development opportunities and coaching.
- Collaborate with school administrators to design and implement school change initiatives focused on reading instruction.
- Develop and lead customized professional development opportunities for teachers.
Requirements:
- 5 years of successful elementary classroom experience.
- Deep knowledge of researched-based reading, writing, and literacy development.
- Solid interpersonal skills, including communication, problem-solving, conflict management, and collaboration.
- Experience delivering effective professional development.
- Ability to create and conduct customized professional development.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Master's degree preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: North Carolina ESL K-12 Licensure Preferred.
