Job Summary
The Rowan-Salisbury School System is seeking a highly skilled Technology Support Technician II to provide technical support to users, manage technology systems, and assist in training other technicians.
Key Duties
- Manage and maintain complex technology systems, including VOIP, Promethean, and District Cell Phones.
- Provide expert-level technical assistance to users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to MDM, hardware, and software.
- Assist in the installation, repair, and upgrade of hardware and software, as well as the configuration and installation of network equipment.
- Use ticket tracking and inventory systems to manage daily work orders and track technology-related assets.
Requirements
- Associate degree in computer science or an IT-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A certification and strong knowledge of computers, hardware, and software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of technology staff.
