About the Position:
Rowe Casa is looking to add to our HR team! We are seeking a dedicated HR Specialist to support a variety of human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to maintain a positive and productive workplace environment. This position is full-time Monday – Friday 1:00pm-9:00pm (hours are subject to change). This position is located in New Boston, TX and will report directly to the HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and setting up interviews for potential candidates.
- Help coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Employee Relations & Performance Management:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
- Support conflict resolution and workplace mediation efforts.
Benefits & Compensation:
- Administer employee benefits information to new employees monthly.
- Assist with open enrollment processes.
Compliance & Policy Implementation:
- Ensure company policies align with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with workplace safety regulations.
Training & Development:
- Assist and support employee training initiatives and career development programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience in human resources or a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.
