What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Manager I position at ROWI Teen & Parent Wellness Centers?
The Facility Manager I oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality at ROWI facilities while serving as an exemplary role model with a positive, caring, and professional attitude, maintaining the confidential nature of client interactions. The Facility Manager I performs duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct weekly and routine facility maintenance inspections. This includes planning, documenting, reporting and performing maintenance and/or installment work or outsourcing to service vendors/contractors as needed. Ensuring the facility is safe and “tour ready” at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and general conservation of the facility. This includes regular cleaning of the refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, cabinets, and disposal of expired goods.
- Responsible for ensuring location External Fire Systems and Fire Extinguishers are serviced as required by ROWI policy and procedures.
- Maintain and secure master keys in safe/lockbox, ordering and issuing copies of facility keys to staff as authorized by position and assignment.
- Water facility plants as needed.
- Keep office furniture in working order.
- Conduct weekly company vehicle inspections.
- Track company vehicle maintenance schedule and book service maintenance appointments.
- Clean company vehicles inside and out.
- Fill company vehicles with gas and log mileage.
- Check diesel exhaust fuels for Sprinter vans as needed.
- Complete transportation logs as needed.
- Monitor facility budgets in conjunction with Chief Growth Officer oversight.
- Review monthly purchases to reduce costs and eliminate waste and/or redundancy.
- Track expenses and upload receipts into Ramp weekly.
- Secures facility credit card.
- Order, assemble and maintain office furniture.
- Order and stock office supplies, tools and client related snacks, meals, bottled water and all nutrition group supplies.
- Order and stock urine analysis kits and infection control supplies.
- Coordinate and participate in emergency safety drills and maintain compliance with Joint Commission Standards and HIPAA standards and frequency.
- Attend monthly operations and quality assurance meetings. This includes preparing and presenting necessary reports.
- Maintain and log refrigerator and freezer temperatures according to regulatory compliance standards.
- Administers urine analysis tests and coordinates Quest Diagnostic pick up.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in the therapeutic setting.
- Audit charts to ensure compliance and timeliness with Joint Commission Standards
- High school diploma required.
- One year minimum experience in a managerial role, preferably in a therapeutic setting or as a Facility Manager or Office Manager. Prior experience in facilities management preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds and age levels.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision.
- Set and maintain clear boundaries with clients and staff.
- Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Engage in appropriate written and verbal communication with client families and other care professionals as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending throughout the entire and regular work shift.
- Ability and availability to work overtime as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
