The ideal candidate will prioritize the safety and care of children, maintain active participation in programs, and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative
- Follow RTH policies and procedures at all times.
- Provide clear instructions to group members and address questions promptly.
- Assist in educating and training new group members and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Analyze group performance and recommend improvements to the supervisor.
- Attend professional development trainings and staff meetings.
- Maintain professionalism under pressure and communicate concerns to supervisors timely.
- Plan and execute daily activities aligned with weekly themes.
- Actively supervise and engage with children, ensuring their safety and participation.
- Emphasize respect, promote positive friendships, and encourage motivation.
- Facilitate and participate in program activities, including swimming.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and communicate absences to parents.
- Conduct daily wellness checks for all participants.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and enforce RTH rules and safety policies.
- Models and teaches RTH core values.
- Builds relationships with empathy and clear communication.
- Passionate about working with residents of all ages and abilities.

- Meet EEC minimum requirements over required trainings.
- 3 years experience working with children in a childcare or education setting.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Availability Mondays-Fridays, and weekends as needed. Hours are subject to vary.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required or acquired within 30 days of hire.
- Provide safe, secure, and enriching experiences for school-aged children and their families.
- Support the effective implementation of RTH's mission and values.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to the community.
