What is the opportunity?
As a Corporate Actions Specialist I, one of your core responsibilities will be to support the processing of corporate actions for RBC’s internal inventory and trading accounts. You will partner closely with the Corporate Actions department and management in mitigating department risks and ensuring that all voluntary and mandatory corporate actions are processed correctly for RBC’s internal trading accounts.
What will you do?
- Act as the first point of contact for all corporate action inquiries and instructions from internal trading accounts.
- Generate and distribute notifications on voluntary and mandatory corporate actions to internal RBC trading desks and support staff.
- Process all corporate action instructions received from internal trading accounts and liabilities received / sent to other broker-dealers.
- Execute a range of department risk mitigation checks on mandatory and voluntary corporate actions to ensure each is processed correctly.
- Provide oversight and work direction for all 144A to REGS conversions and DWAC's.
- Lead various projects as assigned by management to improve department efficiency or reduce the risk involved in the processing of capital markets corporate actions.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $45,000 - $75,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
