The Floating Dispensary Associate is responsible for providing our customers with an extraordinary experience, accurately delivering out-bound shipments from Royal Blend Dispensary to Customer locations and following all required laws and regulations. You will also be asked to assist at the Dispensary when not on delivery routes including picking and receiving duties, budtending, packaging, cleaning, etc. and will follow the direction of the Manager(s).


Responsibilities:

  • Ensures customer questions or concerns are resolved quickly, completely, and discretely.
  • Communicate any requests or unresolved concerns to management immediately.
  • Assist management staff in ensuring all policies and procedures are being followed to reflect regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
  • Comply with all merchandising, cleanliness, and display maintenance policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for opening and closing of the store and maintaining brand standards and store operations.
  • Constantly review store environment to improve operations and merchandising.
  • Work closely with Management to improve personal product knowledge of marijuana strains, (indicas, sativas, hybrids), edibles, extracts, and current products on the market
  • Comply with all register operations, visual merchandising techniques, and store maintenance standards.
  • Ensure store is merchandised in accordance with our standards. This would include but is not limited to creating exciting displays, displays that promote upcoming events, and execute floor plans that feature and highlight premium quality product.
  • Understand and fully implement Royal Blend's Customer service program, showcasing exemplary customer service, including but not limited to greeting, saying thank you, and by explaining policies clearly and politely to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • To be able to service multiple customers at one time with courtesy and sincerity.
  • Cultivate relationships with repeat customers in order to serve them better.
  • Perform all other duties as directed by supervisor and/or executive management
  • Ensure store is in compliance with all branding guidelines, including but not limited to signage, brochures, and promotional events.
  • Promote a positive work-atmosphere by communicating with coworkers, supervisors, and customers cordially and effectively.
  • Assist with marketing store in neighborhood.
  • Always keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy.
  • Load and organize product inventory from Dispensary into your vehicle and unload products in and out of vehicle as needed throughout the day.
  • Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements and follow scheduled route for daily deliveries.
  • Make sure inventory matches manifest (accompanying shipping document).
  • Scan or write in confirmation of delivery upon arrival to recipient client.
  • Collect signature and/or payments at delivery locales.
  • Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each shift.
  • Follow all company and state enforced safety requirements for loading and unloading product.
  • Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while in route, to supervisors.


Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent
  • Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency.
  • Knowledge of marijuana strains, (indicas, sativas, hybrids), edibles, extracts, and current products on the market a plus.
  • Able to pass all background checks as required by state cannabis agency.
  • Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Prior customer service experience in hospitality, pharmacy, customer services, or retail environment.
  • Requires knowledge of inventory procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based email applications.
  • Basic mathematical skills to include adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and calculating percentages.
  • This role requires the candidate to be at least 21 years or older.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record is required.
