Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Analyst to join our dynamic IT support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to end-users, ensuring that all issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems to assist users with various technical challenges.
Duties
- Respond to help desk requests via phone, email, or in-person, providing timely assistance and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktop support, including Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Assist users with network connectivity issues, including TCP/IP configuration and computer networking principles.
- Maintain accurate records of user interactions and support requests in the ticketing system.
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for utilizing technology effectively.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Ensure all equipment is managed properly and maintained according to company standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a help desk or desktop support role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems & networks; familiarity with Windows Server is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts, including TCP/IP protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Experience with computer management tools and techniques is an advantage.
- Valid Drivers License, Safe Driving Record, & Able to pass a background check.
