The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Marketing Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time AE, Social Media Community reporting to the Director, Global Social Media.

This position will be working onsite from Miami.

Position Summary

The Celebrity Cruises Social team is seeking a social-first account executive to support community initiatives such as our influencer/creator program, community management and social listening, the crew community program, and partnered initiatives like giveaways.

This person will collaborate cross-functionally with teams including social care, consumer insights, marketing, hotel operations, onboard revenue, revenue management, and the onboard fleet. They ensure the seamless integration of influencer, partner, and crew content with our Global Social Channels and align it with broader marketing efforts. The individual will be responsible for identifying and reporting on real-time trends and chatter within the social space to engage effectively across platforms. They will assist with influencer relations and requests for influencer trips, while also tracking and collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Hotel Operations, Onboard Revenue, Revenue Management, and the onboard fleet.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Ownership of community management: Regularly monitors and reports on our owned social channels, social groups, and online platforms. Responds to non-customer service-related DMs / comments across social channels.
  • Influencer program management:
    • Coordinates individual and group influencer trip requests, liaising with appropriate Revenue, Operations, and Shipboard team members to service influencer requests, problem-solve and act as main point of contact prior to and throughout their sailing.
    • Supports with everyday responsibilities of influencer initiatives including certificate redemption, travel arrangement coordination, and coordinating with appropriate ship personnel and other departments for onboard experience, as needed.
    • Hosts influencers for onboard trips and experiences.
    • Tracks and reports on influencer performance by utilizing third-party social media / influencer management tools.
  • Execution of social listening strategy: Implement the approved 2024 strategy and liaison with appropriate cross-functional teams
  • Actively track and monitor mentions, trends, and conversations related to our brand, industry, external industries, and competitors via Brandwatch
  • Monitor social media and online forums (Private FB groups) for brand sentiment and work cross-functionally to develop and implement response strategies
  • Work with loyalty team on Cruise Critic Q&As
  • Share Pulse reports on topics inbound from team.
  • Monthly Social Listening Reports.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with agencies / key vendors, externally and internally.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with other members within the marketing, operations, events, and revenue department.
  • Stays abreast of latest social media and platform trends, industry developments, and shifts in the travel industry.
Qualifications, Knowledge And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in communications, public relations, or marketing
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media, PR, or marketing development activities in large, complex, and fast-moving organizations
  • Experience in participating in a wide variety of marketing activities such as event execution, information maintenance and media/influencer interaction, etc.
  • Strong understanding of traditional media, influencers, and social media.
  • Customer oriented skills (within business to business (B2B) & business to customer (B2C) segments).
  • Proven track record in all aspects of program and project management, including metrics development.
  • Ability to coordinate projects and participate in cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized, flexible, multi-tasker
  • Excellent research, written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Solid MS Office skills
  • Experience with content management systems a plus.
  • Some travel required.
