About Us:
Royal City Tours is seeking a professional, safe, and dedicated Driver Tour Guide who will provide memorable and engaging experiences for our guests while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the tour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily and private tours in New York City and other destinations (Boston, Washington, Philadelphia).
- Provide fun, informative, and engaging commentary while highlighting historical and cultural landmarks.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of tour guests during the entire experience.
- Respond to customer questions and requests with a friendly and accommodating attitude.
- Attend required training and team meetings to stay updated and prepared.
- Study and learn facts, history, and key information about tour destinations.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, arriving 15 minutes prior to scheduled tours.
What We’re Looking For:
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, warm, and outgoing; able to put guests at ease and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Communication Skills: Clear, engaging, and professional speaking style in both English and Spanish.
- Adaptability: Flexible, easy-going, and patient when managing guest interactions or unexpected situations.
- Driving Ability: Comfortable driving a 15-passenger van safely in New York City traffic.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable, capable of working unsupervised and making decisions under pressure.
- Professionalism: A mature, positive attitude, with the ability to handle challenges gracefully.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Willingness to study and quickly learn history and facts about NYC and other destinations.
- Physically fit to guide walking tours and assist guests as needed.
