Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate behavioral issues and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support for clients.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other staff members involved in the implementation of treatment plans.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify specific behavioral health concerns.
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of behavioral therapy and special education.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and ability to navigate medical records effectively.
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or behavioral challenges.
- Expertise in applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding when working with clients facing behavioral difficulties.
- Familiarity with behavioral health concepts and practices related to special education settings.
