Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in ensuring safe and optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. This candidate will be comfortable managing a team and conducting analysis to highlight areas for continuous improvement. This candidate should also be
comfortable ensuring necessary utilities are working correctly and possess strong organizational skills to keep track of multiple projects at once and fostering a culture of excellence within the maintenance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring all equipment is functioning effectively and efficiently.
- Implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Develop and enforce maintenance policies and procedures, including Lockout Tagout (LOTO) practices, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Lead, mentor, and train maintenance staff, promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting manufacturing processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment and facilities to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management for parts and supplies.
- Manage budgets and resources for maintenance operations, including procurement of tools and equipment.
- Stay current with industry best practices and advancements in technology related to manufacturing maintenance.
- And all SFQ responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proven experience with Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical expertise in machinery and systems.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bilingual (Preferred)
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Certification in maintenance management or related fields (e.g., CMRP, CPMM) is a plus.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
