Position Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a proven background in broker management to join our team. This role focuses on managing and expanding relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of the retail industry, particularly within these channels, and will have prior experience working with brokers to drive growth and achieve sales targets. As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, driving sales strategies, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities :
- Broker Relationship Management : Leverage broker partnerships to maximize business opportunities and drive growth.
- Sales Strategy Development : Collaborate with brokers to develop and execute tailored sales strategies that meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
- Client Growth and Retention : Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the Club and Convenience sectors, identifying opportunities for account expansion and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Account Oversight : Manage day-to-day account activities, ensuring that client expectations are met, and sales targets are achieved.
- Product Knowledge : Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and services to effectively collaborate with brokers and provide expert solutions to clients.
- Market Intelligence : Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the Club and Convenience channels to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Promotions and Programs : Work with brokers and clients to create and implement promotional strategies, ensuring alignment with brand goals and increasing sales.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service) and external brokers to ensure effective communication and execution of strategies.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis : Track sales performance, monitor account health, and provide regular updates to senior management. Use data to analyze trends and develop new strategies for growth.
