Position Summary :
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for the operation of manufacturing equipment while also working with raw materials used in the manufacturing process. The Manufacturing Supervisor works closely with the Manufacturing Manager in the safe and cost-effective operation of the facility. The position is responsible for facilitating aspects of the production department to ensure achievement of Royal Oak Enterprises' goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize and direct the Manufacturing Department.
- Work with functional leaders to develop and implement plants to efficiently use materials, labor and equipment to meet quality and production targets.
- Ensure that team members are responsible for their safety, the safety of their team members, and the quality of the production.
- Assist Manufacturing Manager with formulation accuracy, raw material inventory control and month end inventory accuracy.
- Provide full cycle performance management support for direct reports including career development plans.
- Achieve project or departmental objectives within the agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Focuses on ongoing process improvement.
