Main Responsibilities:
- Support site automation systems and network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot process controls and manufacturing systems issues, and develop recommendations and solutions to resolve them.
- Enhance overall site integration between various systems.
- Design and integrate PLC and HMI coding.
- Create, tune, and troubleshoot PID loops.
- Determine electrical requirements for projects across the plant.
- Identify growth opportunities by assessing automation needs, recommending improvements, and staying updated on emerging technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers, promoting continuous learning and technical excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical and automation engineering in a continuous manufacturing facility.
- Experience with integrated continuous manufacturing systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, automated systems, industrial networks, and installations across low, medium, and high-voltage systems.
- Proficiency in PLC (Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation), HMI (Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation), Robots (Fanuc), and Electrical arc flash training & certification.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer) or a related field, or Technical Associate's degree with equivalent hands-on experience.
