Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Environmental Services Supervisor to lead our housekeeping and laundry teams on the 2 p.m. - 10 p.m. shift.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility by overseeing staff in their cleaning and laundry duties.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate team members, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently met.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring timely ordering and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory health and safety standards, including infection control protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of facility areas to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to address any special cleaning or laundry needs.
- Assist in developing and implementing department policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in housekeeping, environmental services, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
