What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping/Laundry position at Royal Plaza of Olympus Retirement Living?
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all surfaces
- Empty trash and replace garbage bags
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Skills:
- Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and orderliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
Note: Experience in dry cleaning or working in a hotel setting is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
