What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Restoration Estimator position at Royal Plus?
Job Description/Responsibilities:
RPI is looking for a dynamic, organized, and experienced self-starter to serve as our Insurance Restoration Estimator. Because we are 24/7 emergency services company, Applicants must be willing and available at intervals to work long hours, share the ‘on-call responsibilities’ in a rotating fashion, and be open to travel to disaster locations nationwide (as dictated by the needs of RPI). Qualification/Skills:
- Estimating experience within the insurance restoration industry such as:
- Water mitigation
- Fire remediation
- Mold remediation
- Asbestos
- Lead abatement
- Post Reconstruction
- IICRC certifications are preferred as well
- Must exhibit strong working knowledge of Xactimate, Microsoft Office, restoration job processing software, and insurance restoration claims programs
- Applicants must have a valid drivers license with 3 or fewer points with reliable transportation to and from work
- Applicants must have a felony-free criminal record and pass a drug test
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Communicate well; verbally and written.
- Organize, plan and prioritize work.
- Knowledge of Industry policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Have high standards of professional conduct with Clients, Subs and in-house.
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner.
- Perform in a way that best represents the standards and interests of our company
Physical Requirements:
- Requires medium labor candidate must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to work in awkward places; stand; sit; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk and hear.
- Willing to be occasionally work in high, precarious places; outdoor weather conditions; and extreme cold (non-weather)
- Willing to work under fumes or airborne particle and toxic or caustic chemicals environment (will be provided safety training and safety equipment)
- Traveling to each job location requires the safe operation of a company vehicle must be able to drive
