WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN EXPERIENCED HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
- 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to provide professional references
- Ability to carry up to 70 lbs, sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, and work in hot or cold environments
- Ability to use a smartphone and related applications
- Valid driver's license without any significant infractions
- Reliable transportation
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR EXPERIENCED HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
You'll work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
As an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator, your day will start with inspecting and maintaining your equipment to ensure it's ready to go. You'll operate GPS-controlled machinery to excavate, grade, and move earth according to project plans and specifications. You'll focus on tasks like sloping, banking, backfilling, and stockpiling while keeping safety and quality in mind. You'll also identify and avoid utility lines, guide laborers on-site, and use a mobile app to record daily job progress.
