Electrical Design Engineer

Role: Systems Design Engineer

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday

Join our dynamic Electrical team and take your career to the next level! As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll transform electrical designs from concept to production, detailing electrical systems and components for our cutting-edge vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design 2D harnesses and select electrical components for heavy trucks.
• Collaborate closely with 3D Design engineers and the systems team.
• Liaise with internal and external suppliers and customers to secure installation and application approvals.
• Compile Engineering Master Parts Lists (BOM) and design release documentation.
• Contribute to product testing activities and analyse test results.
• Solve problems related to associated systems and parts.
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• A proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
• Minimum 2-3 years of engineering experience in a relevant industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and 2D harness design.
• Experience with Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) and truck or related product systems.
• Degree in Electrical or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
