Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Oversee and manage the service control operation, providing guidance and mentoring for junior service controllers.
- Customer Service: Be the first point of contact for customer calls, ensuring professional and effective communication at all levels.
- Field Service Coordination: Schedule and prioritise field service activities, manage job details, and ensure efficient workflow.
- Administration: Handle warranty and chargeable field repairs, manage documentation, and update systems with accurate information.
- Escalation Management: Handle major disruptions and make critical service control adjustments.
- Proven experience in a similar role with strong customer service skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
- Technical understanding of vehicle components.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on problem-solving and maintaining high output levels.
- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays: this isbased on a 5 day working week (pro rata to 20 days plus Bank Holidays for a 4 day working week)
