We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations within the firearms industry. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, extensive knowledge of firearms, and the ability to lead a team effectively. Key Responsibilities
- **Warehouse Operations Management:**
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in order processing, inventory management, and shipping/receiving.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance workflow and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
- **Team Leadership:**
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and attention to detail.
- Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and manage personnel performance, ensuring the team meets productivity and quality standards.
- **Inventory Control:**
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through consistent cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
- Implement effective inventory management techniques to minimize loss and ensure proper storage of firearms and related products.
- **Safety and Compliance:**
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, including the handling and storage of firearms, in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular safety training and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- **Coordination and Communication:**
- Collaborate with other departments (sales, shipping, etc.) to ensure seamless operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on warehouse performance metrics, including order accuracy, processing times, and inventory status.
Qualifications
- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business management, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the firearms or related industry.
- **Skills:**
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of firearms, including safety protocols and legal regulations.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.
- **Background Check:** Must pass a thorough background check with no felony convictions; clean criminal background required.
