Adult Day Center Lead Aide

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in healthcare or a related field is advantageous.
• Experience: Prior experience in caregiving, particularly in adult day care or home health settings, is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with elderly clients and their families.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to assist clients with mobility, personal care, and other daily activities; capacity to lift and support clients as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Client Care: Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support.
• Activity Facilitation: Plan and lead recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance clients' physical, mental, and social well-being.
• Transportation Assistance: Safely transport clients to and from the center, appointments, or outings, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client care, activities, and any incidents or changes in condition.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure the environment is safe, clean, and compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
