Position Summary:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Logistics Coordinator located in 14601 Bellaire Blvd, Houston TX 77083.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Procurement Associate to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will support the procurement team by helping to manage vendor relationships, track materials and supplies, and ensure purchasing processes run smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in the field of supply chain or procurement.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and execution of procurement strategies.
Support the purchasing of materials, supplies, and equipment for the organization.
Help identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
Track and maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier information.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management.
Help ensure vendors meet delivery timelines and compliance standards.
Assist with reporting on incoming/outgoing materials and supplier performance.
Follow pricing and procurement guidelines as directed.
Perform other administrative or support tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
0–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field (internships or coursework welcome).
Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain principles.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
