Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Janitorial Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes, ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze market trends and negotiate contracts effectively to achieve optimal pricing and quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet organizational needs.
• Conduct contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with agreements and performance standards.
• Perform root cause analysis to address procurement issues and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize SquareUp for procurement processes, including purchase orders and inventory management.
• Oversee category management initiatives to optimize purchasing decisions across various product lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and manage materials requirements planning (MRP).
• Analyze market trends and pricing strategies to inform purchasing decisions.

Experience

• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management is required.
• Strong skills in contract negotiation and supplier management are required.
• Strong skills in Janitorial/Cleaning Procurement is Required.
• Experience in sourcing, category management, and MRP processes is advantageous.
• Ability to conduct price analysis and apply root cause analysis techniques effectively.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role.
