Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in masonry work, including the ability to construct, repair, and renovate structures using various materials such as brick, stone, and concrete. The Mason will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed to high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

• Construct and repair walls, floors, and other structures using masonry materials.
• Install brick, block, and stone in various construction projects.
• Renovate existing structures by restoring or replacing masonry elements.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project specifications are met.
• Perform welding tasks as needed for structural integrity.
• Execute trim carpentry work to complement masonry installations.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintain tools and equipment used in masonry work to ensure they are in good working condition.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in masonry work is required; familiarity with construction sites is essential.
• Knowledge of installation techniques for various masonry materials including stucco.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Certification or training in masonry or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
