About the Opportunity
Royalty Memorial is offering a unique, Flower Shop Assistant Manager position designed for individuals who aspire become a General Manager within 6-12 months. We’re seeking a talented and dedicated Assistant Manager to help lead our team and support the seamless operation of our flower shop.
About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and organized leader who thrives in a dynamic environment. Key qualifications include:
- Experience in Floral Design: Previous floral design experience is a strong plus, but we also value a creative eye and a passion for beauty.
- Retail & Sales Skills: Prior experience in sales or customer service is preferred, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Leadership & Teamwork: Proven ability to inspire and lead a team while fostering collaboration.
- Organizational Skills: Comfort with inventory management, retail math, and keeping the shop running smoothly.
- Adaptability: Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced environment, particularly during busy seasonal periods.
- Knowledge of Flower Wire Services: Familiarity with FTD and other wire services for processing orders is a plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform light lifting and other physical tasks as needed.
Your Responsibilities
As the Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in the success of our florist shop by:
- Quality Control: Ensure all floral arrangements meet high standards of quality, freshness, and stem count before delivery.
- Delivering Floral Arrangements: Provide timely and professional delivery service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Organize and track inventory to ensure accurate stock levels, minimize waste, and maintain efficiency while maintaining eye-catching product displays that enhance the customer experience.
- Supporting E-Commerce Operations: Process online orders, manage inventory updates, and prepare shipments.
- FTD Master Floral Shop Status: Uphold our shop’s reputation and certifications by meeting industry standards and consistently delivering excellence.
- Understanding FTD Wire Service: Utilize FTD systems to process, track, and complete orders effectively.
- Enhancing Online Presence: Help maintain and improve online reviews by delivering exceptional customer service and quality products.
- Working Fridays and Saturdays: Be available to meet the needs of our busiest times and ensure smooth operations.
