About Royce Too LLC:

Royce Too LLC has been a leader in socks and hosiery for over 75 years, and we’re now expanding our product portfolio to include underwear under the trusted Dickies® brand. As we grow into new categories, we're looking for a talented Packaging Designer to help shape the visual identity of our products on shelves and online. This role will be instrumental in designing functional, on-brand, and cost-effective packaging that resonates with consumers across major retailers.

About the Role:

As a Packaging Designer at Royce Too LLC, you’ll design packaging solutions for our socks and underwear lines that meet branding objectives, retailer requirements, and printing production standards. Your designs will help us tell compelling product stories while ensuring our packaging meets practical needs like protection, sustainability, and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop packaging for socks and underwear across various brands, including Dickies®, with a focus on visual impact, brand consistency, and manufacturability
  • Build dielines and prepare final production files, including print specifications and layering
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product development, sourcing, sales, and marketing) and external partners (vendors, printers, overseas manufacturers)
  • Ensure all designs meet printing industry standards, including color accuracy, bleed, trapping, and resolution requirements
  • Manage packaging projects from concept through production, including reviewing press proofs and collaborating on quality control
  • Stay informed on trends in apparel packaging, sustainable materials, and cost-saving solutions
  • Produce mockups and prototypes for internal review, retail buyer presentations, and planogram visualization
  • Maintain a well-organized library of templates, dielines, and brand assets
  • Basic Photography and photo editing skills
  • Additional creative responsibilities as needed by brand teams including, but not limited to, Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, catalog design, trade show signage, employee promotional gifts, and other “creative tasks” as needed by brand and design teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in packaging design, preferably within the apparel, accessories, or consumer packaged goods space
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with 3D packaging tools a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of the printing industry, including flexographic, offset, and digital printing methods
  • Ability to prepare production-ready files, interpret printer specs, and manage print proofing and color matching
  • Familiarity with packaging components common to apparel, including belly bands, hang tags, folding cartons, polybags, and sticker labeling
  • Experience working with national retailers and understanding their packaging and compliance requirements
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Knowledge of sustainable packaging practices and sourcing is a plus

What We Offer:

  • The chance to influence packaging for a leading workwear brand expanding into new categories
  • A dynamic, experienced team with a legacy of excellence in apparel manufacturing and design
  • Opportunities to work with top-tier retail partners and contribute to national product launches
  • Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative work environment in a company with deep roots and a growth mindset
