Director of Operations – Hamilton Labs
Position Summary:
We’re looking for a Director of Operations to join the Hamilton Labs team as we prepare for significant growth. This role is focused on execution—coordinating teams, managing vendors, and ensuring our business plan is implemented. Reporting to the Sr. VP & GM of Royston LLC, you’ll collaborate with various departments to keep the business on track and drive results. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to step into Director level management and gain hands-on experience running a business unit.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management and Project Execution:
- Execute the business plan under senior leadership's direction.
- Coordinate global projects to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Support key initiatives, including the new configurator launch and finalizing Revit files.
- Track progress and provide updates to leadership on key metrics.
2. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and support a small team, ensuring alignment across engineering, production, and operations.
- Hire, train, and onboard new team members as needed.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, dealers, and internal departments.
- Collaborate with leadership to gather market intelligence and advance strategic goals.
3. Process Improvement and Communication:
- Identify and implement workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Document and standardize procedures for consistency.
- Serve as the main contact for dealer inquiries while keeping leadership and teams informed.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in operations, project management, or a similar role.
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering is a strong advantage.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in vendor relationships and supplier coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues effectively.
- Clear and effective communicator.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
