The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise-class storage, security, network, communication, and virtualization environments. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and vendor-specific certifications.
Key Responsibilities
πΉ Provide advanced technical support for server, storage, security, and network infrastructure.
πΉ Diagnose and resolve system issues while proactively communicating with management.
πΉ Administer and secure Office 365, including identity management, SSO, MFA, and conditional access.
πΉ Maintain and optimize hybrid server infrastructure, including VMware, Nutanix, and Azure.
πΉ Develop, document, and implement disaster recovery plans.
πΉ Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
πΉ Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages.
πΉ Administer McAfee EPO Security, Mimecast email security, and DNS records.
πΉ Manage clustered resources, load-balanced Windows RDS environments, and delegated permissions.
πΉ Participate in IT system onboarding, consolidation, and optimization.
πΉ Provide mentorship and leadership to junior IT staff.
πΉ Participate in an on-call rotation for system support.
Qualifications & Experience
β Education: College or Vocational Graduate or equivalent experience.
β Certifications: Preferred certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, or Nutanix.
β Experience: Minimum 4 years in systems administration, hardware/software support, and IT troubleshooting.
β Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Unix, and Linux.
- Experience managing virtualized environments (VMware, Nutanix, Azure).
- Proficiency in networking, security, and storage solutions.
- Hands-on experience with SQL database administration.
- Knowledge of scripting for automation.
Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
