RPh on the Go is actively seeking a dedicated Oncology Pharmacist for a full-time, day shift opportunity in Fife, Washington. This is a great opportunity to contribute to patient care in an oncology-focused setting while working with a skilled healthcare team.
Job Duties:- Mixes, Compounds, and preparing oncology medications for cancer patients being treated at the facility in accordance with USP <797> and USP <800> standards.
- Assures that all drug storage and drug accountability is in compliance with applicable federal and state requirements.
- Serves as a resource to clinic staff for pharmacy issues and medication information.
- Supports the e-scripting needs of the clinic.
- Oversees daily chemotherapy drug order by pharmacy technicians and provides necessary coverage of this task as needed.
- Assures that the clinic and research pharmacy is managed in accordance with the applicable Federal and/or State Pharmacy Law.
- Monitors that drug refrigerators are maintained within acceptable temperature range for drug storage.
- Monitoring for potential drug interactions, adverse reactions, and toxicities.
- Reports to the Director of Operations and performs any additional task they may assign.
- WashingtonPharmacist License
- RecentOncology pharmacist experience (within the last two years)
- Preferably 3 years of oncology experience overall.
- 2 Years of Sterile Compounding experience & Knowledge of USP-797
- Ability to work the required schedule
- BCOP Certification (preferred)
- Previous integrated care experience (preferred)
- Full Time 40 hours/week
- Monday-Thursday: 7:45am-4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am-3:30pm
- $20,000 Sign on Bonus
