We are seeking an experienced New York Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, 8-week contract-to-hire opportunityin Albany.Schedule:
Monday - Friday, four day shifts (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)and once evening shift(2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) per week, withone weekend per month.
Responsibilities:
- Input prescription information into the pharmacy system, including patient details, drug details, and physician information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company protocols and regulations.
- Assist pharmacists by reviewing orders for completeness and clarifying missing or unclear information to maintain medication safety standards.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, customers, and team members to resolve order-related issues, ensure timely processing, and address customer inquiries professionally.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of previous Pharmacy technician experience.
- Order Entry experience.
- Pharmacy Technicianlicense is a plus, but not required.
