Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
Immediate opening for qualified Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner. This is a full-time or part-time position. The job requires seeing patient in an outpatient interventional pain management clinic under supervision of physician. There is no hospital coverage, night calls, or weekend calls.
The suitable candidate should be able to identify and treat chronic pain conditions by interviewing patients and performing physical examinations. He/she will be responsible for obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories, diagnose abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results. Interested candidates should have a sound background in musculoskeletal and general medicine, good computer and people skills, and have a valid North Carolina license and DEA number.
Throughout the period of employment, the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be encouraged to improve his/her professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and attending professional societies annual meetings.
We require the following:
- Must have current NC license/certification and be able to work in North Carolina.
- Possession of or eligibility to have a valid state license, DEA and NPI.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a background check. Provide employment references and education.
