Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated TIG Welder with experience in repetitive, high-volume production work. The successful candidate will focus on cutting, prepping, and TIG welding thin-walled stainless steel and aluminum tubing for various automotive aftermarket products. Expect a fast-paced environment with recurring production runs of the same parts.

Key Responsibilities

• High-Volume TIG Welding: Consistently produce high-quality welds on repetitive, large-quantity orders of stainless steel and aluminum tubing.

• Cutting & Prepping: Accurately measure, cut, and prepare materials to ensure precise fit-up before welding.

• Blueprint Reading: Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and work orders to maintain consistency and quality.

• Quality Assurance: Inspect welded parts to confirm they meet dimensional and visual standards, making corrections as needed.

• Operational Efficiency: Maintain an organized work area to handle repetitive tasks efficiently and meet production quotas.

• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and use proper PPE when operating welding equipment and cutting tools.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience & Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical/vocational training in welding is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience on thin-walled stainless steel and aluminum.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Comfortable working with repetitive production runs, achieving consistent weld quality over large quantities.

  • Skilled in cutting, prepping, and setting up parts for optimal welding results.

  • Familiarity with welding parameters (amperage, voltage, gas flow) for multiple material thicknesses.

• Automotive Focus:

  • Previous experience or strong interest in automotive aftermarket components.

  • Understanding of performance standards for exhaust systems, turbo piping, or similar products is a plus.

• Soft Skills:

  • Detail-oriented, able to maintain quality across repetitive processes.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods in a production environment.

• Noise levels may be high; appropriate PPE will be provided.

• Must be capable of lifting up to [75 Pounds] safely.
