Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals, ensuring all client needs are met.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor and document changes in clients' physical and emotional well-being.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the client's living space.
- Support clients in participating in community activities and social interactions.
- Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience
- Previous experience in home health care or caregiving is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and care plan implementation is essential.
- Experience in senior care settings is advantageous.
