The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a highly motivated summer Architectural Intern for our Aviation Practice in our Denver, CO office.
The Architectural Intern will work directly with the project team of architects, interior designers, and engineers to assist in the design, development, and execution of construction documents for aviation projects that range from new terminal buildings, concourse expansions, interior renovations, firefighting facilities, and really any building that might be constructed on an airport. This is an amazing opportunity to gain hands on experience and a better understanding of the architectural industry while working on projects that make a meaningful impact on the world.
Responsibilities:
- Support the production of permittable contract documents
- Prepare presentations for client meetings
- Render design concepts using 3d software
- Survey and document existing building conditions
- Meet required schedules while producing quality work
Qualifications:
- Current student pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited university
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and quickly adapt to changing client demands
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Revit, Sketchup, or other 3D software
- Be graphically and visually inclined with experience in Photoshop/In-Design/Bluebeam
- Have an inquisitive mindset and proactive attitude with an attention to detail

Interns will work alongside top engineers and planners in a fast-paced, professional setting and will gain valuable experiences while applying educational knowledge and skills to a professional environment.
The base pay rate for this position in Colorado is $24 to $27/hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
