What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Receivables Assistant position at RSC Mechanical, Inc.?
Our company is looking for a motivated, organized team member that is proficient in Microsoft Office programs and has experience in entry level accounts receivable responsibilities. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills with numerous company departments and clients. Applicants must have a strong attention to detail.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform assigned accounts receivable functions: Batch, post and send invoices, apply payments, perform collections, research, and resolve discrepancies, address disputed invoices, prepare periodic reports, and support month-end closing and reconciliation processes as necessary
- Process bank deposits
- Follow established procedures for processing invoices and receipts
- Prepare and support AR reporting and audits as necessary.
- Submit invoices to customer portals
- Update records including customer accounts, electronic & physical documents and databases
- Generate age analysis reports for outstanding receivables
- Create ship to codes, new sites, and customers in system daily
- Handle AR emails and phone calls
- Request insurance certificates
- Assist with payroll processing
- Function in a highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork is crucial to organizational success
Payroll Processing Responsibilities (Tuesday) include:
- Calculating employee wages weekly based on hours worked and verifying through vehicle GPS system
- Manage Petty Cash expenses
- Communicate with technicians and their managers for approvals
- Research missing data and data discrepancies
- Prepare reports

Pay Rate: $17-$18 an hour
Work Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
