Responsibilities:
- A Project Foremans typical workweek is Monday-Friday from 7:00AM - 4:00pm.
- Work on an Overtime basis as needed.
- Be able to take emergency weekend calls on rotational basis.
- Create and maintain a construction schedule that meets project objectives.
- Help with the training of construction workers and monitor staff attendance.
- Help ensure that safety and quality standards are followed, pay attention to laws and regulations to maintain a safe workplace.
- Provide PM support to all contracted customers and equipment designated for PM.
- Maintain communication with stakeholders within and outside of the project.
- Maintain and organize the equipment and materials needed to perform the work.
- Monitoring and calculating productivity within projects and reporting status to management.
- Maintain the work of site operatives, to ensure that the work is completed safely.
- Attending appropriate technical, safety and manufacturer training.
- Assist to prepare site for all substation construction and perform all manual labor functions.
- Monitor and install various substation equipment and associated attachments.
- Maintain productivity levels in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate with the relevant parties throughout the process. This may include store managers, supervisors, and your team at RSC. Communication may include expected downtime, progress, and suggestions about preventive measures in the future.

- Collaborate with EMS (Energy Management System) contractors to provide proper control and the highest efficiency possible.
- Evaluate, service, repair and install the following equipment:
- Commercial Refrigeration Systems Refrigeration Equipment reach ins, walk-ins, Fixtures, display cases, cold storage units and Control Systems.
- Ice Makers, Refrigeration systems/equipment, Ice Maker mechanisms.
- Electrical and electronic Control systems for all types of commercial refrigeration systems.
Job Duties:
- Handle hazardous chemicals.
- Utilize necessary portable hand tools.
- Startup and troubleshooting of new systems.
- Setting up walk-in boxes and installing evaporators.
- Demonstrating proficiency in commercial HVAC and Refrigeration systems, including both mechanical and control aspects.
- Weld and braze with an open flame.
- Diagnose and repair WIC, WIF, and remote refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose and repair reach-in, and self-contained refrigeration.
- Diagnose and repair ice machines.
- Setting up walk-in boxes and installing evaporators.
- Demonstrating proficiency in commercial HVAC and Refrigeration systems, including both mechanical and control aspects.
- Piping and installing refrigeration equipment.
- Install and maintain proper operation of Glycol systems and refrigeration compressor Rack systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Must be able to identify, service, repair, and install all components of the HVACR systems we service, including but not limited to:
- Receiver
- Oil Separator
- EPR
- Liquid Line Solenoid Valve
- Suction Header
- Have a strong knowledge base of controller
- Be able to force defrost through the E2/Danfoss Controller
- Show what valve/valves you would close to pump down the rack
- Be able to pump down circuit A1 or B1 as if you were going to clean the strainer at the TXV
- Demonstrate proper procedure when locating a leak
- Have excellent writing skills when filling out forms
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Holding EPA Certification (preferred)
- Traveling is required
- Mechanical aptitude
- Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift objects up to fifty pounds
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both individually and as a team with minimum supervision
