Job Description:
As an Experienced Electrician at RSC Electrical, you'll play a crucial role in servicing and maintaining commercial electrical systems. From emergency repairs to scheduled projects, you'll tackle a variety of tasks with precision and expertise. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing installations, examinations, replacements, and repairs on electrical wiring, receptacles, lighting fixtures, conduits, switchgear, transformers, and more.
- Executing scheduled assignments, work requests, and projects in a timely manner.
- Leading and supervising crews of 2 or more apprentices to ensure efficient project completion.
- Reading blueprints, bending, and mounting electrical conduit, and testing control panels to meet project specifications.
- Conducting basic troubleshooting and testing of new control circuits.
- Adhering to NEC guidelines and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Working at multiple job sites within a day or week, as required.
Job Requirements
To excel in this role, you must have:
Demonstrated proficiency in lighting installation, control panel wiring and testing, conduit bending, and fire alarm systems (experience is a plus).
- Ability to lead and manage crews effectively while providing mentorship to apprentices.
- Strong blueprint reading skills and familiarity with NEC guidelines.
- Flexibility to work at various job sites and adapt to changing priorities.
- Dedication to quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
